This driveway has had standing water in the area that has sank around 1" to 1 1/2". The soil beneath has washed out over time. The cracks on the surface were caused from portions of the concrete settling, creating an uneven subsurface. The slab can be raised and stabilized with poly foam injection. Defender Concrete Solutions uses PolyLevel foam that is waterproof and super strong. The cracks and joints will then be sealed with NexusPro, a UV resistant silicone based product that will not dry and crack in the sun. It also remains highly flexible so it will not pull away from the joints. The whole process will be very non-disruptive and should only take around 4 hours to complete.
Cracked Driveway
Cracking from washout below surface
Exposed Joint
Joint is not sealed and will allow water to penetrate below surface
Uneven Slab
Sinking allows water to pool up and will penetrate under surface. This will wash more soil away and sink further.
