Delta Fire Department
Challenge
The Delta Fire Department had multiple areas of walkways that had sank over the years. The cost of replacing all of the concrete is enormous. When concrete is replaced, the old concrete has to go to a disposal facility or landfill. Trip hazards are also created which is a liability to the customer and safety risk to the public. We worked with the customer to eliminate all of these problems with the use of PolyLevel technology.
Solution
Defender Concrete Solutions was able to solve all of the customer's concerns with the use of PolyLevel technology. By lifting the concrete back into place, there was no need to destroy and haul the old concrete to a landfill. There was very little time when they areas could not be used, since we repaired all areas inside of one day. Trip hazards were eliminated. All of this was done at a fraction of the cost of tearing the old concrete out and pouring new. The beauty of it all is that it is a permanent remedy since the PolyLevel will not was away or leach into the soil.
